Restaurants are one of the things we know best: dozens of cafes, restaurants and bars designed, from Glendale and Melrose to Yerevan. A restaurant has to look unforgettable and still turn tables, move plates and pass inspection. We design for all three.

Concept
A concept guests can feel
We translate your food, your brand and your neighborhood into a space: materials, light, music zones and the one detail people photograph. Eden on Brand in Glendale and Station 43 on Melrose each started from a different story.
The concept is shown in realistic 3D, so you can test it with partners and investors before you build.

Operations
Layouts that work on a full Friday night
Seating counts, bar flow, service paths, host stand, restrooms and the back of house are planned together with your operator and kitchen designer. Good flow means more covers and a calmer team.
- Seating plans and capacity
- Bars and open kitchens
- Lighting and acoustics
- Coordination with kitchen equipment and engineers

Questions
Have you designed restaurants in Los Angeles?
Yes. Our LA work includes Eden on Brand, Iki Toro Sushi Bar and The Little Corner cafe in Glendale, Station 43 on Melrose and a hookah lounge in Los Angeles.
Do you design the kitchen too?
We plan the kitchen area and coordinate with a commercial kitchen designer and engineers on equipment, ventilation and plumbing.
Can you help with health department requirements?
We design with the food facility rules in mind and prepare the drawings that the review requires, working with your kitchen designer and engineers.
How early should I contact you?
Ideally before you sign the lease. We can review a space and tell you what it allows.
